Dr. Jeffrey Smith has 20 years of experience in particle technology and fluidization. He has worked on FCC technology, cokers, methanol to olefins, gasification, pyrolysis, and methyl chloride and polydimethylsiloxane

    • Designed and commissioned a pilot circulating fluidized bed reactor for methanol to olefins (MTO), Developed new hydrodynamic/kinetic models for the scale up of circulating fluidized bed reactors, Modeled and debottlenecked commercial FCC standpipe systems
